Our story
How it started.
Mykyta and Roman worked together at a product company. What started as professional chemistry - a shared understanding of how software should be built and why - became something bigger.
When Mykyta connected with a client in the military tech space, they didn't just take the project. They built a prototype, secured a grant, assembled a team around the problem, and delivered an MVP of a situational analytics system. The kind of project that takes real engineering depth - not project-management workflow.
That experience shaped everything. The most interesting work is the kind other agencies pass on. So instead of building another dev shop, we built CodeHive - a team that deliberately goes after the hard problems. For defense, for startups, for businesses that need something that simply doesn't exist yet.
We don't keep a bench of engineers waiting for projects. We work with a curated network of specialists we've collaborated with for years - developers, designers, automation experts. Every person on your project is someone we personally vouch for. This is deliberate: it keeps the team senior, the overhead low, and the accountability where it belongs - with us.
